Resource aspects of the role:

      • Manage, review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google Ads
      • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, budgets and other important metrics
      • Execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structure, targeting, display network, and other areas of paid search in order to meet business goals
      • Building out all types of campaigns, YouTube, shopping, DSA, remarketing and more
      • Continuously work on improving the accounts quality score through ad copy, keyword optimisation and landing pages
      • Understand e-commerce and create shopping campaigns, dynamic remarketing campaigns and merchant centre accounts
      • Provide insights, manage, and create monthly client reporting
      • Keep up to date with the latest PPC industry trends
      • Work closely with the other team members to meet business needs
      • Provide insights, manage, and create monthly client reporting
      • Develop and execute successful SEO technical strategies
      • Deep understanding of Google’s guidelines
      • Must be able to produce ‘’out of the box’’ strategies
      • Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects  
      • Provide recommendations and strategies for continued SEO campaign improvement for clients and potential clients
      • Perform SEO audits regularly for potential SEO clients
      • Manage high-quality reporting and communicate performance and insights
      • Stay current on the latest industry trends, best practices, and search algorithm updates
      • Respond to SEO client requests accurately and in a timely fashion
      • Complete account-related tasks as assigned by your manager within the given time frame
      • Proficient in google sheets and excel
      • Excellent spelling and grammar is a must

Education requirements:

      • Google Ads Certified
      • Search 360 experience is beneficial
      • Deep understanding of Bid / Budget management
      • In-depth understanding of Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google
      • Analytics, and Google Ads editor
      • HTML
      • Javascript
      • Screaming Frog Technical Audits
      • Various SEO Ranking Software
 

 

We're looking for a
WEBSITE DEVELOPER CHIEF

Aspects of the role:

      • Management of projects alongside project coordinators
      • Working with management and PCOs in developing cost estimates for copywriting projects
      • Ensure briefs to your clan members are clear
      • Ensure that the clients’ needs are being met
      • Management of scope on projects
      • Ensuring deadlines are met
      • Management of project profitability (what’s invoiced vs time spent)
      • Pull monthly reports for your clan to flag time-sucking projects or clients
      • Chief will have an overview of all website jobs that come in to the studio. Clan members’ work should be spot checked. The buck stops with you!
      • Chief needs to sign off on all site maps before they go to client for approval
      • Chief needs to sign off on all site designs before they go to client for approval
      • Answer any questions your clan might have – and liaise with other chiefs to assist your clan in getting the right answers
      • Continuous Conversations, Feedback and Recognition (CFR) discussions with your clan.
      • Coaching and mentorship of your clan means having ongoing conversations with each member
      • Morning scrums: In conjunction with other chiefs, lead each morning’s scrum with your clan to oversee good distribution of workload
      • Assist your clan with it’s OKRs
      • Accountability for your own growth as a leader: upskilling yourself in order to become a better manager.
      • Working with management and admin in developing cost estimates for web projects
      • Management of projects alongside Brand Candy project co-ordinators
      • Ensuring deadlines are met
      • Management of project profitability
      • Management of scope
      • Technical assistance with designers, content developers, SEO team in working with client’s sites
      • Answering clients’ technical questions
      • Troubleshooting, assisting when sites go down or get hacked, dealing with hosting companies
      • Improvements to web department
      • Managing and improving web team processes
      • Ensuring best practices in web team
      • Oversee the training of clan members
      • Final checkpoint before sites go live
      • Consistent update of client records on Client Data sheets
      • At the end of each day, spend 5 minutes checking, updating and correcting your timesheet
      • Pull weekly report for each clan member to check all job numbers are correct, clients are correct and hours add up
      • Attend weekly Chiefs scrum to discuss with other chiefs, and management, processes and projects

Experience requirements:

      • At least 4 years experience in WordPress web design/development
      • Good knowledge of Google environment – Gmail, Docs, Spreadsheets
      • Adobe Photoshop experience
      • A solid understanding of responsive website development
      • WordPress/PHP development experience
      • WooCommerce development experience
      • A decent understanding and implementation of JavaScript/jQuery
