Who are you:

Brand Candy is on the hunt for a seasoned PPC (Pay Per Click) Manager, reporting to the Head of Digital and working closely with the Digital, Creative and Client Service teams to help us shape our clients’ brands in the market and contribute towards an explosive rate of growth for them.

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a comprehensive, all-round marketing skillset who will develop and implement our clients’ short, medium and long-term digital marketing strategies.

In this role, you should be well-versed in search engine marketing (SEM) principles, including search engine optimisation (SEO) and PPC in both Google and Social spaces. You should be analytical and good with numbers.

Your goal will be to ensure our client’s online marketing efforts have the highest possible return on investment (ROI) and that our client’s objectives are constantly being met.

Your primary responsibilities will be maintaining and constantly improving our clients’ Google Ads and Social Media accounts and analysing the results in Google Analytics to identify patterns and trends that can help improve their campaigns’ efficiency.

What you need to know:

  • 3 years of experience as a Digital Media Specialist, Digital Marketing Manager, or a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of Google and Social Media Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads Editor
  • An understanding of Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads) is advantageous
  • Google Ads certification and Facebook Blueprint is mandatory
  • An understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM)
  • Screaming Frog Technical Audits
  • Various SEO Ranking Software (AHREFS, SEM Rush etc)
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

What will you be doing:

  • Manage all aspects of Google Ads and Social Media campaigns
  • Create and optimise ad campaigns and make recommendations for landing pages
  • Analyse and optimise ad campaigns to increase return on investment (ROI)
  • Use Google Ads to drive a variety of online marketing campaigns
  • Manage and optimise display campaigns across multiple devices
  • Develop PPC strategies to increase online visibility
  • Research new advertising opportunities and provide recommendations to account managers and clients
  • Monitor competitor activity to identify any new strategies and gain insights that may assist in meeting the client’s goals
  • Partner with other departments to ensure that all advertising campaigns meet the client’s objectives
  • Manage landing pages and implement conversion tracking tools, such as Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager, to measure campaign effectiveness
  • Create reports detailing campaign results and make recommendations for future campaigns
  • Analyse customer data to identify potential customers who may be interested in the client’s products or services
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop strategies to improve website traffic and sales
  • Stay up-to-date with search engines and PPC’s latest industry trends
  • Decide on the appropriate placement of ads
  • Determine what content will reach customers
  • Assist in implementing email marketing campaigns
  • Suggest strategies and methods for improvement for Google Ads and Social Media campaigns
