Google Analytics Reporting

The uncharted land of Google Analytics

We don’t just capture data from Google, we are big on Google Analytics reporting too! The Google AdSense network, Google Ads, Google Shopping Ads and social media are great drivers of traffic to a website, but it can be tricky to understand which efforts are working and which are just a waste of time and money. Google Analytics is a tool which, when used in conjunction with your digital marketing efforts, can greatly improve your online effectiveness. Mainly because you will be able to tap into the huge resource of information that Google Analytics provides.

Need a reason to get on board the Google Analytics wagon?

We’ll give you five:

  1. You can track how much traffic is coming to your site from your various digital channels.
  2. You can measure the impact of mobile browsing on your website. With mobile internet browsing on the rise, having a responsive website is more important than ever before.
  3. You can work out the conversion rate (number of task completions e.g. visitor adding a product to their cart) for your landing pages or enquiry forms.
  4. You can analyse the performance of your site’s content by inspecting site ranking and readability scores.
  5. You can get a general idea of how your Google Ads and social media campaigns are doing, and make sure your money is being well spent.

To Google Analytics, and beyond

Interpreting marketing reports requires a keen strategic mind. (And a fondness for exploration!) So, if you want to get the most out of your reports, let us handle them for you, and develop plans of action based on your site’s specific results.

Read Time: 2 MinutesWe have some lovely clients with some lovely websites that have been lovingly built. We put them out there, market the heck out of them, and hope for the best. We are excited to announce that we are now going to be supporting all of this hard work with Google Analytics reporting.

Google Analytics, is by default, “switched on” for all the sites that we build, but we are now offering neatly packaged reporting for those clients who would like to track the efficacy of their marketing efforts.

Google Analytics is a tool which, when used in conjunction with your digital marketing efforts, can greatly improve your online effectiveness. Mainly because you will be able to tap into the huge resource of information that Google Analytics reporting provides.

We are particularly excited to offer this reporting service to our Google AdWords and social media clients. These two are great drivers of traffic to a website, but it can be tricky to understand which efforts are working and which are just a waste of time and money.

Here are five reasons why you need Google Analytics reporting:

  1. You can track how much traffic is coming to your site from social media – and if you’re not using social media to drive traffic to your site (and build brand awareness), then we need to sit down and have a chat!
  2. You’ll be able to measure the impact of mobile browsing to your website – if you’ve had your site built by Brand Candy, then it will be a responsive site. That means that it’s easy to navigate on any device – whether that’s a smart phone, tablet or desktop computer.
  3. Figure out what the conversion rate is for your online shop or enquiry forms. Conversion rate? That means that your visitor has completed a task on your site – whether that is adding something to the cart and checking out, or filling in a contact or enquiry form, or signing up to your newsletter.
  4. Helps you analyse the performance of your site’s content – it’s no good putting out loads of content that isn’t easily found on Google or has poor readability
  5. Get a better idea of how your Google AdWords campaigns are performing – we don’t like throwing good money after bad. Make sure that every click (which you’re paying for!) counts.

The information that we will give you in your Google Analytics report will help us work out where the strengths and weaknesses are in our marketing campaigns. We can then stop, start or continue with the right things, and chuck out the bad ideas 🙂

Pop us a mail on hello@brandcandy.co.za if you’d like us to start tracking your website traffic with Google Analytics. We look forward to digging into the data with you!
