What you’ll do:
Brand Candy is client-objective obsessed. We are looking for account managers that are as
passionate about this mission as we are!
Brand Candy account managers deliver excellent customer service, functioning as their clients
day-to-today marketing partner, our clients are at the heart of everything we do!
The nature of our company is highly collaborative so ensuring that the Brand Candy machine is
working at optimal efficiency, our account managers must be able to work as part of the team,
as well as have the confidence to independently make decisions and use initiative. The ability to
handle the unexpected and think on your feet is pivotal to this role.
What you need to know:
- While a qualification in Digital Marketing or a related field is advantageous, we value real-world experience even more. Experience as an Account Manager, Account Executive, or in a similar agency role is essential.
- You should have a solid understanding of the full range of services offered by Brand Candy and the ability to see these from a holistic perspective. This means understanding how various digital marketing activities connect, explaining these tactics to clients, and demonstrating how they work together effectively.
- A ‘big picture’ thinker who can offer valuable, proactive marketing insights and act as a true partner to our clients. Understanding client needs, especially their business model and objectives, is crucial.
- A strong grasp of Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO, Social Media (both organic and paid), WordPress, and Mailchimp. The ability to analyse and interpret data is key—first, to attribute success to our marketing efforts and present this value to clients, and second, to use these insights to inform future strategies and tactics that align with client objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills are a must, especially in managing client relationships, resolving conflicts, and navigating difficult conversations to achieve positive outcomes.
- Formal and informal project leadership (including scoping, milestones and go-live planning, organising and executing work, setting and hitting delivery dates), supporting and reaching clients goals and objectives, and finally delivering a high quality output.
- Budget management is another critical skill, both in terms of client budgets within the studio and managing ad spend budgets effectively.
- You should have a proven ability to contribute to defined business goals and objectives, with an understanding of the commercial aspects of your work. Excellent time management is essential to meet deadlines and targets, as well as to contribute to Brand Candy’s commercial growth by understanding the impact of time on profitability.
