This is an in-office role at our studio in Hillcrest, KZN.
What you’ll do:
Brand Candy is client-objective obsessed. We are looking for account managers that are as passionate about this mission as we are!
Brand Candy account managers deliver excellent customer service, functioning as their clients day-to-today marketing partner, our clients are at the heart of everything we do!
The nature of our company is highly collaborative so ensuring that the Brand Candy machine is working at optimal efficiency, our account managers must be able to work as part of the team, as well as have the confidence to independently make decisions and use initiative. The ability to handle the unexpected and think on your feet is pivotal to this role.
What you need to know:
- While a qualification in Digital Marketing or a related field is advantageous, we care more about your attitude than your degree.
- Experience as an Account Manager, Account Executive, or a similar agency role is a plus — but if you’ve worked in a space where keeping clients happy, managing expectations, and keeping work on track was part of your every day, we already love you!
- A basic working knowledge of digital marketing — from social media to websites, email campaigns to reporting. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should understand the landscape and be eager to deepen your skill set.
- Being proactive, detail-oriented, and organised is essential. You’ll be managing deadlines, handling communication, and driving work forward.
- Strong communication skills are essential, we want your clients to be as obsessed with you as we are with them!
