It’s birthday month for Brand Candy. On the first of March, we celebrated our second birthday, which of course, called for a celebration. It’s hard to believe it’s already been two years of creative paradise. It feels like it was just yesterday when Rubio Communications and Kablooey Studios joined forces and set out to conquer the world of digital marketing. In the past two years, we have seen our team and client base grow exponentially. Business is booming and we couldn’t let the occasion pass us by without a celebratory bash.
A Rumble in the Jungle
Here at Brand Candy, we love a good excuse for a party. Work hard, party hard – it’s all about balance. And if you can’t celebrate yourself and your clients once in a while then what’s the point, right? A birthday is the best excuse for good ol’ shindig, so we got planning. With the help of the lovely ladies from Labola, we transformed our studio from creative workspace to creative jungle. Rope, wooden elements, tiki masks, and monster leaves everywhere. Guests simply had to follow the foliage. The jungle vibe was pumping, all we needed was the beating of some tribal drums.
We had leaves hanging from the ceiling, creeping up the stairwell, and masking the desks – into the wild with Brand Candy. And of course, a trip to the jungle isn’t complete without a sturdy off-road vehicle. The team got creative and constructed a jeep out of cardboard, the perfect prop for our photobooth. With the studio converted into a jungle, the lounge a photobooth, and the kitchen a watering hole, we were ready for our guests.
Thank You for Celebrating With Us
As the clock struck six, the portal to our birthday oasis was open. Friends, family, clients, and of course our team and their partners flocked in for some jungle fun. A stocked bar and pizza flowing up from Stretta kept the tummies (and glasses) full. There was laughter and chatter as guests mingled and the music pumped. The flash of the camera lighting up the room as the talented Chanel Bergsma captured every moment.
We had an absolute blast. Thank you to our wonderful clients for your support, without you none of this would be possible. We love growing your brands and look forward to continued success! For everyone who stopped by, we are so glad you were able to come celebrate with us. We can’t wait to do it all again next year.
